Since in previous stations the Reineck (box) corer was launched several times but it was not possible to obtain cores =( we have changed our ways and now the strategy to follow is to sample two much shallower sites to obtain sediment from an area where the carbonated province converges with the  terrigenous one in the south Gulf of Mexico.

Singladura: to the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy, this word refers to the distance traveled by a ship in 24 hours which ordinarily begins from 12:00 hrs. However in the B / O Justo Sierra, are counted starting from 0:00 hours

    En estaciones anteriores, el nucleador Reineck se lanzó varías veces, sin embargo, no fue posible obtener núcleos =(... la estrategia a seguir es muestrear dos sitios más y recuperar sedimentos en un área donde convergen la provincia carbonatada con la provincia terrígena en el Golfo de México.




    Nota... este blog no había sido actualizado porque estuve fuera de circulación durante los últimos 2 días debido al colapso...la causa.. MAREO ... snif snif...

    Singladura: De acuerdo al diccionario de la Real Academia Española, distancia recorrida por una nave en 24 horas que ordinariamente empieza a contarse desde las 12 del día, pero que aquí en el B/O Justo Sierra, se cuenta a partir de las 0 horas.
